From hole-in-the-wall joints to upscale eateries, Sedona has something for everyone. And with scenic views of red rocks all around, it's the perfect place to enjoy a romantic meal or a quiet breakfast with friends before heading out to the trails. Here are some of our picks for the best foodie hotspots in Sedona:
#1 Coffee Pot
The Coffee Pot is a must-visit for any omelette lover. Named after the nearby Coffee Pot rock formations, the menu features 101 different omelette combinations! This local hotspot is an iconic tourist destination so you want to be sure to visit early in the day to avoid the line. Our favorite menu item is the square biscuit which tastes like a dreamy pillow of buttermilk in your mouth! The service is great, the prices are a bargain and they keep a full pot of hot columbian coffee on the table.
#2 Cuisine Of India
Who knew that the key to a great vacation in Sedona was finding a restaurant that doesn't close at 8pm? On our first night in town, we were left scrambling when all of the restaurants we had planned to eat at were already closed. But then we found this absolute treasure, Cuisine Of India, which thankfully stays open until 9pm.
Neither of us had ever experienced Indian cuisine before and we were truly excited for the opportunity. The server was very patient with our questions and offered some really great recomendations . The food was phenomenal! I could eat the Masala and the Naan every day of my life! Unfortunately, we were exhuasted after a full day and didn't think to get any pictures of the experience, but you can check out their IG gallery here. Indian cuisine is a must-try for anyone who enjoys good food. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
#3 Cowboy Club
If you're looking for a taste of the wild west in the middle of the bustling Hillside Shopping area, then the Cowboy Club is the place for you! This restuarant offers unique menu items like Rattlesnake Sausage and Cactus Fries served with a sweet Prickly Pear sauce for dippin! The Cowboy Club also has a full bar, so you can enjoy a cold beer or whiskey to wash down your Deviled Eggs and Bison Burger. And if you're feeling really adventurous, you can try the "Prickly Pear Mojito" which is a mix of white rum, prickly pear cactus syrup, lime juice, and a proper muddled mint. Yummy!

#4 Mariposa Latin Inspired Grill
Looking for a unique fine dining experience in Sedona, Ariz.? Look no further than Mariposa!
The menu features a variety of dishes inspired by the diverse cultures of South America, from Peru to Chile. Standout items include the ceviche and empanadas. Of course, no meal would be complete without a view of the stunning Red Rock formations, which can be enjoyed from the restaurant's floor-to-ceiling windows or from the expansive outdoor patio. Whether you're looking for an intimate dinner for two or a festive night out with friends, Mariposa is sure to exceed your expectations. The pics we took could never do this place justice, so check out Mariposa's official IG gallery here.
A strict dress code and reservations are required. Make sure you make them while planning your trip. This restuarant is tough to get into during the busy tourist season.
#5 Secret Garden Cafe
The Secret Garden Cafe may not be much of a secret, but it's definitely a hidden gem. Tucked away in the Tlaquepaque Shopping District, this tranquil spot is perfect for brunch. The garden setting is intimate and picturesque, and the service is warm and friendly.
We were drawn in by the Secret Garden's tantalizing menu, which features such daring options as Hummus Pizza and a variety of quirky salads and sandwiches. We were not disappointed; the food was both beautiful and delicious. Our meal began with an order of the house speciality, the Hummus Pizza (pictured here). The pizza dough was light and crispy, topped with a creamy hummus, goat cheese and dried fig. Overall, we were impressed with both the quality of the food and the creativity of the menu. Highly recommend if you're searching for Brunch vibes.
#6 Szechuan Restaurant
We stumbled across Szechuan, an Asian restuarant in Sedona, during the pandemic when many of Sedona's restaurants were temporarily closed. We have been back many times since, and it has quickly become one of our favorite places to eat when we are in town. The food is absolutely amazing, and the service is always friendly.
If you're looking for a place to get your sushi fix, this is the spot. The sushi is always fresh, and the rolls are creative and delicious. The presentation is also top-notch. Everything looks so beautiful that it's almost a shame to eat it. But what really sets this place apart is the Chinese food. It's some of the best I've ever had, and it's served family-style, so you can share with your friends. Special spotlight on the Wor Wonton Soup!
We can't recommend this place more, The food is absolutely amazing, and the prices are very reasonable. Trust us, you won't be disappointed. Check out some of their highlights here
If you’re a foodie, Sedona is the place for you. With cuisine from all over the world, there’s something for every adventurer. Just be sure to plan your dinner before 8pm – most restaurants close by then.
